hey people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM BACK!!!!~~~
yup i was back yesterday night, reached home about 11.30pm... the malaysian customs was packed with cars and buses.... i bet today even worse loh. but the moment we crossed the malaysian customs, everything became much smoother liao. this goes to show that the singapore customs definitely has higher efficiency than malaysian's.... im not trying to despise malaysia or wat... but from my more than 15 years of experience crossing the borders, this has almost always been the case loh. we were stuck in bus 170 for an hour before we reached the malaysian customs. and the worse thing was that it was raining and raining.... making the everyone wet and irritated. damn suay....
In case u ppl dunno why i am in malaysia, im there to visit my maternal grandparents who lives in a small town(and i really mean small and quite rural) in the state of johor. its called cha'ah, aka san1 he2 gang3 in mandarin. its abt a 2hr car/bus trip from JB. it is really away from large towns like johor bahru or segamat, but the fact that it is away from large towns also meant that i can have much more fun. why??
THATS BECAUSE I CAN PLAY WITH FIRECRACKERS!!!
and i mean real firecrackers okay..... not those stupid sparklers that we play. i was thinking: everyone is talking abt firecrackers nowadays and dunno how many thousand ppl are flocking to chinatown to see those firecrackers, but here i am in malaysia lighting and playing all sorts of firecrackers, including those that we see in chinatown(in fact those are too ordinary liao no fun at all)... i even get to see those fireworks that are very similar to those seen during national day. they are not as high as those during national day lah, but its like u can feel that its really right above your head only!!! my god..... there are all sorts of firecrackers available, and all different names egs, dragon eggs, thunder god etc. most of them require u to light it up while others need you to strike it like a match. some will give out a single 'bomb' sound while others can perhaps spin or give out light.given my limited vocab, i really really dunno how to describe the feeling of playing with fire crackers especially the moment when u light it up and wait for it to explode... perhaps the closest ones would be like fun, exciting, great, shiok!!!!!! so the conclusion is: DUN EVER ASK ME TO WAIT FOR HOURS TO SEE FIRECRACKERS IN S'PORE. ITS A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME!!they are no big deal at all..... pls dun envy me hoh....(i know u all will)....hehe..
anyway, my stay in malaysia is a nice one definitely.... got alot of ang baos lah... but a pity they were all in ringgit.... but never mind lah....i give them to my mum. also had steamboat....i have always like spending my new year there.... got more atmosphere and 'feel'....everyone sitting around the table to eat and eat hahahaha....now back to s'pore no more feel liao.... sigh....
watever the case, just wanna wish everyone a happy new year again!!~~school starting tml liao so life will go on again....
