in the last entry, forgot to mention about the collapse of Nicholl Highway on tue. its so devastating... dunno wat to say. i had the shock of my life when i first saw the place on TV. it was like," oh god, such a large scale accident actually happen in singapore?? the area which collapsed is so big...." i just couldn't believe it...
its already friday liao. 3 corpses had already been found. just now in the afternoon, saw on the TV that the people say that they are going to give up on finding the last missing person, as the land is like shifting or dunno wat lah. but can u imagine that the person will be buried under the highway forever?? its like, he will stay there forever u know... his family will never be able to see him again.... people will never find him again...get wat i mean?
well whatever the case, i really really hope that they will find him soon, though the chances of him surviving is as good as zero. even if he's dead, i still hope that they can find his corpse. oh also read in the papers that this person was buried becoz he couldnt escape in time, after warning the workers to run away. infact he could have got out of the place safely. but in order to save his workers, he went back in to tell them that the place was dangerous. and so when everyone began escaping, being the last one to leave, he couldnt get out in time. he's such a great man, dun u think so?? risking his own life to save others... he reminds me of the rescuers of the 911 incident. these people truely deserves our admiration. though they have lost their lives, their courage and selflessness should not be forgotten.
