ok i shall now report on me watching jackie chan's new film, new police story, or xin jing cha gu shi.... firstly, wanna thank my dear yihui for subsidising me 2 dollars for the movie... u too good to me le lah...before the movie, she came to the coffeeshop near my house to eat "zhap cai peng" from that "ocean curry fish head"... den went to j8 to watch loh...
compared to his last film, which was around the world in 80 days, this film was 100X more worth my money lah... the story was better, the stunts are wat i really called stunts, and it has jackie chan's previous standard... ok, first of all, i can really see him trying to put in more efforts in acting lah, all his crying and drinking and all that emotions lah... really very good lah... since i had never expected him to really "act" in his movies... it was a right choice to use yang cai ni, aka charlie young, to be jackie's gf. she's still so pretty after all these years...
den came the whole plot and thrilling actions. though the story is not that realistic, but without the story, the show wouldnt be nice. daniel wu was really a bad guy in the story, but hoh, i got to agree that he's still that dashing even when he's playing the bad guy. his eyes, expressions really fantastic and his acting should be commended. another cute one was nicholas tse. he's so damn cute in the movie loh... always creating laughter and trying to be funny... haha... i almost cannot stand his fatal smile liao... i have always felt that he's really shuai ever since sec sch. and this time round, it had confirmed my feelings again... hahaha... he's so handsome...
den back to jackie chan. the scenes are still so full of impact, all that car crashing lah, building collapsing, glass shattering, wall climbing, bombs, guns and his agile moves lah... wah basically watch until i yan hua liao luan, very exciting and fast paced. all that typical jackie moves are fabulous!!! shiok!! this should be the way mah... not like that stupid around the world in 80 days... total waste of my $. im afraid that this is the last time that he can still do such difficult stunts, given his age lah... i think its rather dangerous for him to continue all this running and jumping liao... haha...
anyway conclusion for the movie. good!!... i think i will give it 4/5 lah... oh today is the 3rd consecutive day that im rotting outside... and i have been with yihui all these 3 days... oh shit... we can rot into shit liao.... but i have enjoyed myself for the past 3 day. yEaH~~ ^___^
