latest announcement: i think i lost my job.
yesterday, went to work as usual den the GL told us we were not required to come actually. they didnt manage to tell us in time coz the 3 of us were out already... yeah... so that woman said actually by right they can tell us to go home, but they just let us work. sadly the 3 of us asked for half day later and our job ended at 7. the company said we need not come to work till further notice. hahahahahahaha.... so that marks the end of my job right?? all the sub-con ppl there are so-called "sacked" i think. yihui's going to find another job... and im joining her too... not exactly sad abt the whole thing coz i have heard some rumours already so at least mentally prepared. and its also clear that they dun have much things to do already... so for this weekend, i will be a free person!! hooray!!
anyway, since we had half day, the 3 of us went j8 and wanted to watch tian xia wu zei aka world without thieves. but the earliest was 9.40 and since eewee didnt have bus to go home, she couldnt join me and yihui. OH MY GOD THE MOVIE IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! i think i can say its the best chinese movie i have watched this year, though i never watch alot of movies anyway. the story's abt andy and rene who are 2 thieves/pickpockets/cheats.... hahah. yeah. but upon meeting a young man, sha3 gen1, rene decided to take him as her little brother. on a train trip, sha gen naively told everyone he had 60k wif him, coz he didnt believed that theives were all around him.. when infact his beloved sis were thieves. rene wanted to protect him at all cost in order not to change his innocent belief that there are no thieves in this world. so the main plot revolves around the competition btw andy and another group of thieves led by ge3 you1, who are both interested in the money. but eventually, andy and rene was protecting the boy's money....
i know the plot and story doesnt sound interesting, i think i shouldnt have said so much. but the movie's really good firstly in terms of its actions, esp the parts of how they steal things. obviously its not 100% realistic but its exciting. the actors are very good, no matter its andy, rene or thet ge you... from now on i really know why rene liu can get best actress. and why ge you is so good. he's like half the main actor liao...even sha3 gen1's innocence will definitely touch the audience. i dunno who wrote the dui4 bai2, but its also very jin1 lian4 and exciting, adding really alot of marks to this movie. the movie is exciting at the front but towards the end, it really touched me. i wouldnt mention the ending. i can swear that i seldom cry when watching movies, even tear jerkers like BROTHERHOOD has completely no effects on me. yet i cried at the end of the movie. i really did.
so whoever reads this, oh pls go watch this movie, u wouldnt regret it.its something reallt worth my 8.5 bucks and my tears. im so fortunate that i went to watch. initially i wasnt enthu abt this movie at all. but now i never regret... its not just a love story lah... im not uaully touched bt those bimbotic love comedies. its everything that makes it good. really good. even the papers today gave it A for both entertainment and yi4 shu4 xing4...
