ok, this shall be another short entry.
back from malaysia on fri morning, took half a day's leave as a result. this year new year was simpler, didnt manage to light alot of firecrackers myself, but managed to see alot alot alot of beautiful ones... oh my god... all sorts of pattern, colours... and its just right before my eyes!!!i cannot imagine if someone was to let me light the firecrackers up, i would be really touched... its just so beautiful man....now i understand why in some dramas, when the male lead light the firecrackers for the female lead, she would be so touched to tears. i really understand that feeling already...
anyway, watched constantine on fri too. its not a bad movie from a normal audience' perspective... all the effects and sounds and characters are indeed fantastic. but i just dun like the story i the sense that its "religious component"(dunno how to say in ang mo) is abit too strong. all that stuffs about god, demons, heaven and hell. not that i object to christianity, but becoz im a rather neutral person, so i was thinking if my missionary aunt were to watch this movie, she would have quite some objections i think. i dun usually like movie which uses all this religious stuff to create their story... coz i dun think its that respectful. either u do one which is totally religious, like passion of the christ, or u dun do it. well perhaps u may think im narrow-minded, but i just dun like it.
ok but being a very objective person, i would say that its still very worth watching, very entertaining, some scenes will scare u all of a sudden. oh and keanu reeves is indeed handsome, or perhaps quiite charming. no wonder he can be so popular in the matrix series.and i really pity him that he gotta smoke and smoke right from the start till the end. pathetic... i bet he must really be coughing liao...
ps: coughing doesnt mean u will become keanu reeves. haha.
