didnt really think og blogging today... but since i had i good day at work today... so i just note it down...
maybe im just lucky or wat lah... others forever get nasty callers, and today one of the TCOs actually cried. didnt know wat happened before that coz i happen to be in the toilet. but most prob must be some stupid callers who make a big fuss until the poor girl couldnt take it and just broke down.... jasmine was like consoling her lah, but dunno wat she said anyway.
it definitely takes patience and tolerance to work at this kind of helplines... but i truely believe, ppl scold us not becoz they want to, but becoz they are just frustrated lah. im really grateful to the fact that i seldom or rather never met callers who can extremely nasty. i know i have said this before.... becoz of this, i can safely say that till today, im very very happy working at iras, and i really hope they can let me continue after apr. im not going to quit this job unless they kick me out. trust me.
talking about nice callers, got 2 callers wished me have a very nice day/weekend, and it certainly warmed my heart... esp till the late afternoon when i tend to be more lethargic. got a few was like saying, so nice talking to u/ thanks alot for your patience/ u are really very nice and patient etc... i cant help but just smile when i end the call. sometimes, its really not the salary that makes me like this job, its the satisfaction u get when u can assist others and solve their difficulties, and the simple "thanks lot for your help" that touches me.
had a briefing after work today, and C was like warning us, " in another few weeks time, u will see alot of ppl downstairs(taxpayer svs centre). it may be so crowded that i cannot assure u that u can even get up to the office here... hahaha. she also told us not to show our tap card when we go for lunch coz tp may "hijack" us... (i think she was trying to say kidnap) and she say she wouldnt know how to save us if that happens. HAHAHA.... dunno if u can get wat it means or not lah... but i think i know... HAHAHAHa....
ok... im going for the NUS open house tmr...
