im back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh well, i was back last sunday liao... but couldnt use the com so today manage to on it better come announce 1st hahaha...
hahaha regarding the photos, i will still need my uncle to load them into my com 1st, but honestly speaking, those taken using the digi cam are all quite rubbish and without ppl de, those nicer ones are taken using my manual cam. so if u really wanna take a look at my pics, i will show u all when i see u... also took some videos with my phone, but apparently i dunno how to put them on the net... haiz...
speaking abt the trip i shall now talk abt it, sadly without some pics lah...
basically this is the best trip i ever had overseas!! i truely enjoyued myself everyday and oh boy, how i wish i could just stay for another 2 weeks and dun come back liao... the best thing i can say abt shanghai is good food and shopping!! but i would put food before shop since im such a food lover u see... who the hell said that s'pore is a food paradise?? thats utter bullshit man... i dun see anything nice here ever since i came back... hahaha... ok so wat did i eat??
im going to name as many as i can remember off hand now, so im sure there are some i missed out... for the benefit of the readers and also myself in future, i try to describe it a little if possible, and i will show u all the pics later if i have. so here goes, all except item 1 is not in ranking:
1. dishes cooked by yihui's grandmother(the reason i put it 1st is becoz i really find her cooking the best of everything i had!) includes "hong2 shao1 shi1 zi3 tou", sth like a big meat ball, pork ribs, prawns, fresh tomatoes with sugar aka "tang2 shui3 fan1 qie2", "fan1 qie2 chao3 dan4", "yun2 tun1", "mao2 dou4", dumplings aka "zhong4 zi3", "dai4 yu2", a type of fish, vegetable soup, curry beef, cucumber, toufu with salted eggs etc...
2.steamboats, got the fish one and another is at "xiao3 fei2 yang2", got beef and mutton, and we were supposed to cook them in the soup base. oh shit personally i like the xiao fei yang better esp the beef and pork ball... the beef super fresh de so i cannot cook till too cooked or not wasted liao... i really miss the xiao fei yang.
3.bbq aka teppanyaki, 1st one was a treat by yihui's mother... its sth like the one at j8 food court, where the chef prepare the dishes infront of u. another was we bbq ourselves, with the charcoal and "wire gauze" in the centre of the table. the sauce is very nice lah.. together with the beef...
4.something called "hong2 yu2 pen2", with the fish slices cooked in oil only... not fried ok, its as if the oil is the soup and the fishes and bean sprouts are in it.
5.and alot of others that cannot be classified, like "yong3 he3 dou4 jiang1", "xiao3 long2 bao1", "sheng1 jian1", italian cuisine, "pai2 gu3 nian2 gao1", a restaurant call "he2 ji4 xiao3 cai4", KFC, "xu3 liu2 shan1", japanese food...
currently i can only think of these.. but there are still other snacks here and there lah... hahaha u wouldnt know how nice is food there unless u go eat them... woohoo... i shall talk abt some places i went another time...
