digress//Talking about work today, it strikes me that we've encounter some miscommunication today through sms which ended up becoming a real joke.
Colleague X smsed colleague Z to buy orange honeydew plus lil milk juice. Got to the store and
colleague Z goes: Auntie, orange honeydew plus lil milk
Auntie: [Face distorted- but she comply to what was told by colleague Z]
Got back to office...
Colleague Z: ehh...why your taste so weird de? Why orange + honeydew + a lil milk?
Colleague X: Huh??!! I want orange de honeydew + a lil milk lehh
Colleague Z and me: -______________-
goodness gracious, she's referring to ROCK MELON.
nevermind...
Me: Aiya...then just tell us you want rock melon + milk lahh!
Colleague X: noooooo auntie dunno what's rock melon!
Me: aiya maybe you should tell her you want "lock melon" and she'll get it loh!
Us: wahahahahahaha....
