>> __being nasty in 2 different ways__

was reading sharon's blog abt the 2 kinds of ppl who are nasty, and we separate them by education level. but after these 2 weeks on the line, i realise we can also classify them into 2 more kinds... the scream-shout-bang-table ppl and the sarcastic-yet-know-their-way-around ppl...

TYPE 1, scream-shout-bang-table:
last week, had these woman who called in screaming and shouting saying that she couldnt recv her husb's sms and calls and couldnt call out. she said she was at the esplanade. after checking, that day had the fireworks and too many ppl were crowded at the same place, thats why she had the prob. so i apologised and told her nicely that it was due to a congestion as she was at the espl, adv her tt she can try restarting her phone or moving out of the area (when she called her she was already away from the congestion and could call, or not she wont be speaking to me using the phone loh).

that she started harping on the sms thing, saying it was very very urgent, her husb could not contact her... went on saying wat kind of rubbish and lousy svs are we providing, sayin that her SS and MM user fren dun have the prob, ONLY US. halfway thru the call, all the sms started ringing (i heard it too) and she screamed "see see see? why everyth can recv now? see? i got 13 sms... i couldnt recv anyth just now!!!!" just when i thot everyth would be ok, she went on complaining (esp the sms issue)... scolding we are lousy, keep saying she wanna change to SS and MM... i told her if she ends her svs, must pay $500 termination charge. she said"why should i pay? u are not providing me with the svs i want..."

finally she said wat she wanted " i think i DESERVE some compensation for this. u all should give me some voucher or wat..." diaoz, if u wanted it just tell me right from the start i would have given u a straight no (after i checked and cfm no voucher to compensate) and not waste my time listening to your crap.

so i told her sth like," mdm this delay is due to congestion, not really a network prob. this congestion and delay of msg also happen when everyone send greetings tgt during Xmas. this delay will also happen to SS and MM right? not only us... so the same theory actually applies here... i can assure u this will not happen very frequently and we are constantly improving ourselves..." den sorry X 2000 times AGAIN...

miraculously, she didnt have anyth to rebutt me and she just shut up and even said "i hope u all improve your svs ok?..." i was like super happy that she finally shut up cos she got nth to complain liao.

anyway i just found out ytd that i could hav given her like 3 mths free caller id, so make us look like kind and FLEXIBLE like the BIG BROTHER...nvm next time i shall be more generous den...


TYPE 2, sarcastic-yet-know-their-way-around:
this cust is wants to change his price plan and mobile no. he wanna change no cos he says he no cos he's recving nuisance calls... when i told him the change of number req otc $30, he says if we can do away with it. i told him since he's recving nuisance calls, he just needs to make a simple police report with relevant details (i told him everyth) and we can waive the $30. den he says, last time when he changed no for another line he didnt have to pay. i told him we need to justify tt its really nuisance calls...

i still rem wat he said " k****al, lets not waste your time and my time. i know u can waive it. im telling u im recving nuisance calls, so why dun u just waive it? i know that if im gg to say that im terminating this line becos of nuisance calls, your Cust Affairs will still waive for me right? so lets simply things now... i dun wanna go thru all these stuff..."

DIAOz!!!! he doesnt shout or scream but he knows our procedures well. when i flipped thru his contact hist, i realised he's the kind who dispute bill here and there lah, loses his hp yearly BUT his replacement sim FOREVER FOC! if im not wrong, he always refused to pay for his repl sim at the counter and so we got no choice but to give in everytime. i seriously wonder how much money he had saved by ALWAYS trying to get his way around.

evetually my TL just gave in to him since he didnt have OS bill... on my way home with ni, i was still telling her, where got ppl so suay 2 lines also got nuisance calls de? who will believe him loh? he said that he recv private no calls in the middle of the night with no sound... hello... really got so suay 2 completely different no also got nuisance one meh?

so i concluded: HE IS NOT RECEIVING NUISANCE CALLS! HE HIMSELF IS THE NUISANCE!!! HE IS THE NUISANCE PERSON!! THATS WHY MAYBE PPL WANNA MAKE NUISANCE CALLS TO HIM!!
