>> __birthday dinner. Part 2__

finally its the birthday girl's turn to do a report on her 21st birthday dinner. was too busy with some other stuff over the weekend.

we had a out of expectation low budget for our dinner and drinks. went to this restaurant stonegrill which was along east coast road. basically food is served to you on a big stone and it gets cooked there. the seafood was so-so, nothing too special but the steak was great!! u can choose how long u want it to be cooked and hear the sizzling sound when u grill it...

the girls gave me an out-of-the box surprise by getting me a cake!! so we all still believe birthday should come with a cake no matter wat...

anyway my birthday aside, we finally presented to eewee the long long over-due scrapbook! eewee didnt expect us to do one for her (who will think of it in the first place when your birthday is like 3 months ago liao?) it took us really quite some time to complete it and to paste her pretty face on jolin' wu niang body hahaha~~

as promised by ping, i had a much more PEACEFUL birthday this year, no stunts to be done, no rubbish bin mission any more. so it was drinks time after dinner.

but the process of gettin to Holland V just showed how much we need to improve our taxi service. eewee, jie and me boarded a cab and went over first. the cab drive was a super pro one who snaked through other cars and horning them when they were too slow... how i wished i had such superb driving skills. we reached there pretty early and waited for ping and the rest to arrive. but apparently there was no cab over at east coast road and it took them like 1 hour before they met us again. tsk tsk~~

drinks were partly subsidised by me!!im the one who started the birthday drinks treat... freezer room inside Eski-bar was REALLY a freezer. and i should be the coldest among everyone cos i was wearing a skirt and my legs were DIRECTLY exposed to the cold... we finally settled down outside...

so wat did i receive this year: its a PUMA jacket!!!! even though im no lack of jackets, but i dun mind having another one to wear to work and sch! from wat i know, choosing the present seemed like a difficult task cos the girls couldnt decide wat design and colour they want. well dun worry, i still like it alot!!!! i wore it to work ytd and ah Di already commented my new jacket was pretty heehee...

i think i should be repeating wat i mentioned last year, but it doesnt hurt to repeat it once more: I feel so grateful that i always have this bunch of girls to pei me for my bd and give me pleasant surprises for my present and dinner. same as eewee, i dun like the thought of having chalet cos its always noisy but end up not much of interaction, and needs lots of planning. i still prefer the thought of having a sumptuous dinner with a group of close frens, have some nice chats and drinks.

虽然家人从不对生日有着任何的庆祝，我妈甚至连一句话也没提，让我还真是有点失望，仿佛就被他们遗忘了一样。不过从小家里就没庆祝生日的习惯，所以老实说我真的也不在乎。但幸好永远有一群讲意气的朋友，不管是ping也好，乙荟也好，大家对我的疼爱真的让我很感动。至少让我知道了我身边的人，你们真的都很爱我，我真的感觉到了！要为朋友庆祝生日是需要费心思甚至时间的，要装作没一回事却点简单得很。

谢谢你们陪我度过我的21岁生日，我永远都会记得这一天的。
