the 3 girls finally went to JB for a KTV session and dinner feast.
its a whole new refreshing experience even for ppl like me who often cross the borders, cos its not my mum or my cousins who's with me, i dun have anyone who can speak malay beside me, and most importantly,
its the my 2 courageous friends like me, who are not afraid of the not-too-safe environment, and the fact that we dun even know our way well there. Kudos girls~~the safer part was that we went City Square only so nth much to worry about. i thot there the student offer but ended up we realised there wasnt any on weekend and we could only sing for 3 hours! so sianz loh... but since we were already there, we still sang for 3 hours which was not that cheap afterall, luckily KTV in JB offered snack tgt with nice drinks which made it still relatively ok in the end. ms mountain tortoise weini finally saw the
plasma tv which im so addicted to.
after singing, cos it was too early for dinner, we went to secret recipe for some cakes and food. once again i was telling the girls
secret recipe in JB dun take exchange rates into account for their food. so the cakes are real cheap!! weini i dun mind getting u one whole cake from JB since its like half price...
before we left the KTV, as we didnt know where to go for nice dinner, we CONSULTED the person at the KTV counter and he suggested this Tmn Sri Tebrau. so we wrote it down, flagged a chinese-driver cab and off we went for dinner after secret recipe!!
and here we are at the place. the place is quite big with 3 streches of food stalls, noisy, warm, not too clean. but this is precisely the feeling u should go for in JB cos here's where u see how and where the locals dine... to be honest, the food was not that fantastic actually, but there are many many other stores selling seafood that we can try in future and most importantly its really affordable cos we only paid S$10 for crabs, stingray prawns and vege. we could have ordered much more though...
i really hope of all us can go one day and we can order till we are siao!! since we are already back safely, my dear gals, maybe u really wanna convince your parents we can take care of ourselves de...
