be ready for all the photos again!
presenting the ultimate tw trip Part 4: CKS memorial hall / SYS memorial / taipei 101 /raohe night mkt
local breakfast before we set off... i simply love and miss the dan4 bing3 there!!

Mister Donuts!!!! its the donuts we ever had and its ads are always so cute and attractive!

beting ready to set off~

first stop: CKS memorial hall

see how the seats are arranged in the train?

this is the music hall or sth like tt. we didnt and couldnt go in anyway... the weather was damn damn hot and were baked alive on the parade area!!

this was much bigger den wat i saw on TV loh~

we got a teacher who was with her students to help us take this pic...

the weather is so terrible that the girls couldnt smile anymore...

next Stop: guo gu ji nian guan aka SYS memorial hall...

this are the famous guards that can stand still without moving... and their expression is real damn serious de.

we manage to see the hourly changing of shifts. their rifles are damn heavy from loud thud produced when they knock the rifles on the ground. i was recording the whole process when they suddenly marched in front and almost bumped into me if i didnt siam back. so scary haha~

taipei 101 taken outside SYS memorial hall. its such a big building...

we finally couldnt resist the temptation and went in for donuts!

my fave is the wu3 gu3 one and the starwberry one. its FREAKING delicious and addictive de!

here we are inside the taipei 101 lift... which was REALLY REALLY fast cos its takes about 40 sec to go up 89 floors. i think the same time could only take me from first to 30 floors on a HDB lift without stopping.

we were given this electronice tour guide that we can press certain buttons to listen to infomation abt the taipei 101.

Currently the best scenery i ever saw for a city...u wont know how amazing it is unless u are up here to see with your own eyes. its competely different from wat u might see from other buildings in s'pore becos all the objects are so small that u wont believe that thats a car. plus the mountains ahead of you, its real magnificent. thus taipei 101 is strongly recommended for everyone even though it cos about S$18 to go up. the scenery is worth the money lah...

u will also realise how packed are all the buildings... try expanding my photos and u will know how gorgeous it is...

here's the mountains

this is the speed of the lift. ist certified by the guiness world record as the fastest lift in the world..

we got some souvenirs and brochures..

this is the place where u can send a post card back to your famliy or frens..

next, this is a gigantic pendulum/Damper weighing 660 tons that is used to balance the building so that it would move to the opposite direction when there is a wind. this is becos the building is simply too tall and thus would sway when they are wind movements. i had once saw this Damper on cable and i thought it is really a genius and useful addition for its purpose.

after good good scenery, we were back on ground for shopping at the famous we fen pu. we didnt really do that much shopping cos we were all too exhausted and our feets were hurting from all the walking tt we couldnt even balance ourselves well haha... right ah ping?

isnt this doggie adorable!!!!?? i couldnt help but take a picture of it cos its just too lovable with its brown curly hair...

after a tiring evening of shopping, we needed some food. so here we are at rao he night mkt. seems we didnt take the pic of our delicious oh ah jian aka fried oyster...

cooling desserts...

tau huay...

ok im done with today's report. stay tuned again~
