>> Part 6 is here, with highlights!
i discover my tag board is getting mouldy until i wanna ask a question: are there anyone who is even reading my entries on the tw trip? or izit no one is bothering to read liao... haiz~
Part 6 coming now: yeliu/ danshui
breakfast at the same store before we set off fr the day. we dint expect our day to be a super tiring one. we also bumped into I**S sups who were also having their hols in taipei. damn qiao lah... fancy bumping into them in xi men ding early in the morning...

on our train ride towards yeliu...

the bus ride to ye liu was a one that took much longer den wat we had expected. the bus practically winded through so many areas... and the best part was, all of us fell asleep cos until we missed out stop!! luckily we were only 1 stop over our destination. so we quickly got off the bus after pouring out all of coins to pay for the fare (cos the bus fare was supposed to be paid when u get off) and we were left in some ulu place that we got no idea where it was. so we crossed the road, waited for a bus, asked the driver if it goes to yeliu (fortunately it did). and we finally reached his yeliu nature reserve area b4 noon. on our way we kept asking ppl how to go there also... we finally realised how impt it is to ask your way around and DUN EVER fall asleep on the bus!
the place consisted of these funny looking rocks that are eroded by wind and water and thus lookes like mushrooms. in other rocks, u can clearly see the layers within them, so at least its kinda like a real life geography excursion for me.

since it was at the coasts, u can also see the beautiful sea and rocks along the coasts.

here's the layer of rocks...

dun they look like mushroom heads?

to all geog students:
POTHOLES! they are not active ones though... probably eroded long time ago already...

here comes the main reason why we are at ye liu: the Queen's Head. This piece of rock is one of the mushrooms above, but cos its happens to look like a queen's head, hence it became famous loh.i have seen this picture online and i thought it should be sth very big and grand, maybe at least 3-4 metres tall?

but the rock turn out to be like half of the size i assumed. but from one particular angle (infact only THAT particular angle), its does look like a queen's head.
so we sure must take a pic to show why we spent the whole morning just to find this rock. FYI, we are just infront of the rock on only, hence it really isnt a big one AT ALL~~

one thing to note was that since all these rocks are constantly subjected to erosion and weathering, its just a matter of time before this rock will break and disappear... so better go take a look before its gone!

we got bored looking at all the rocks and grasses, so we decided to play with water!

after a burning afternoon spent at ye liu, we were back dan shui to get sth to eat and proceeded to shop around dan shui old street before we took a boat at night to Yu Ren Ma Tou.

donuts again, this time its dunkin donuts, but honestly speaking, mister donuts is still better!!

we were too hungry that we decided to eat sth proper and filling at this jap restaurant that specialises in pork chop. the pork chop was thick and juicy. YummY!

here's dan shui, but not the actual old street if im not wrong, cos we didnt go inside the old street... dan shui is a nice place to spend your evening cos its has lotsa food and things to explore, and ite more spacious den Jiu Fen, u can even see the sun set... thus i would wanna come here again the next time im in taipei... we haven really got much time to really shop around, quite wasted loh~~

this is the famous tall tall ice-cream thats often featured on tv. it costs only
S$0.50 each, damn cheap and cooling lah... and the seller is damn pro de cos all the ice-cream are tall and straight...

this is the mango and srawberry flavour...
ah ping wat are u doing? this picture looks so R21 cum tammy-NYP~~~~
there are many game stores at dan shui which u can play with either air guns or darts... this ojne below was shot using air guns. ziyun the sniper got 9 balloons out of 10...

and these wine-bottle shaped balloon is the reward for all our efforts!

grilled sotong!! its damn nice de lah~ but its all in ping's mouth liao... poor sotong....

this is the other game store that uses darts. its much more difficult and we only got some bubble gums as a reward haha...

sunset at dan shui is very pretty too!

here's where we got our tie dan, the famous Ah Po Tie Dan, which is really tie dan cos it taste like rubber outside... so u end up only eating egg yoke. not too delicious actually.

waiting for our boat to Yu Ren Ma Tou aka Fisherman Wharf.

off we set off!

here's the bridge that lights up in the evening...

departing for dan shui old street again...

BUT OUR DAY DIDNT END here! just when we thought we are going to stay at our room to rot and watch tv, our highlight came cos the 3 beans has agreed to join us for a ktv session later... so after refreshing ourselves at the hotel, off we go to PartyWorld!the main reception always looks so pro and grand de sia~

their system come with this grading system on the screen to tell u if u are doing well. but basically we dunnno how it works since the 3 beans sing so well also cannot get more den 90 marks.

our fruit platter...

Last but not least group photo is a MUST! this is the first and probably the last time that we will meet guys who can sing so well!
by the time we leave the place, it was already 6am (cos we sang from 2 am to 6 am). and according to our schedule, we weere supposed to go taizhong by coach in the morning. but we were all too exhausted that we had to change our plan and stay in the hotel to sleep cos no one had energy to move anymore... haha thats the only best part of free and easy cos u decide on the itinerary...
most importantly, changing itinerary didnt mean it was sth bad. infact the change in our trip plan was fated to give us the next highlight of our tw trip.
heehee~
