>> MOVIE time: Lust Caution
Friday is set aside for the LK girls to watch our first R21 movie tgt.
went to the cathay to watcha and the movie was actually screened at the Grand! Goes to show they know its going to be popular haha.
the movie is not only R21 in terms of the *er hem* scenes, but also in the story and the background. probably many singapore kids would not appreciate the motive of kuang yu min and Mr Yi in the movie since they have no idea wat was the chinese history behind it.
of cos the acting are great, including lee hom and tang wei. cos tang's character is really very very challenging and 多层次, from a young girl to one who fell in love with a traitor. its not easy for a new actor like her. so her performance does impressed me, not to mention the u-know-wat scenes.
i have to admit the love scenes are WAY more daring den wat i expected. even though the papers had mentioned the 尺度 of the scenes, but its still quite a 打开眼界 for me (call me sua ku if u wan).
when i got back, went to find the link to read abt the hidden meaning of some of the stuffs in the movie, and im so convinced that 李安 seriously makes a good director sia!!!!!!!!
worth watching, so pls go watch!! and im sure the R21 version is far better cos the love scenes and the killing scenes do make a diffference to the characters!
