>> Wat you should do during a Fire Drill
1.
Go find out the time of the drill, by hook or by crook. The company or building mgt wont tell u, so u should find out from colleagues who has experience, or from from your fire warden who definitely know when its going to happen.
2. Once you find out the time,
PREPARE, but not the in office of cos. If the drill should happen around 3.30pm,
take your wallet and umbrella and take the lift comfortably down to the Wang Cafe downstairs to have a cup of afternoon tea, probably pretending you have a VERY VERY important urgent meeting out of nowhere, while waiting for the PA system to tell the whole building to evacuate. By then, you might have already finished your coffee downstairs already. The Wang Cafe owner might be also wondering: why are there SO MANY PPL LA-KOPI-iNG today afternoonall of a sudden?
3. Once the announcement is made, proceed to the assembly area beside the building. The afternoon sun is going to be hot and there is no shelter, SO UMBRELLA IS THE BEST to hide from the sun at the assembly ground.
Bottom line is: dun torture yourself under the sun, make the best out of your afternoon break. zee needs umbrella the most rmb?
4. While waiting for the announcement by the building mgt,
raise your head, look up the sky.Free NDP airplane show for your viewing pleasure! If there wasnt any fire drill, u wont have been able to watch it so clearly from the assembly ground without blockage. wooh!~ and bring your camera phone to take pictures!
Remarks: zee the guai-kia only followed point number 4, cos her boss decided to leave on time, and take the stairs down 18 floors. Miraculously, when zee and her boss left office for drill, the whole office was already more den 70% gone. and the fire escape staircase wasnt even half-filled with ppl, and everyone walked down slowly, steadily, no hurry no urgency.
Was this even a fire drill or a friday afternoon airshow?hahaha, so interesting.
