This is SPECIALLY FOR YOU EWE PHUA (i bet you are the last one to see this post....)
LK has the privilege to celebrate birthday with the oldest girl (oops) right smack on 03012009. Birthday girl chose the perfect restaurant:
Viet Lang @ Arts House. Good ambience and service, delicious food and VERY reasonable price (almost 40% cheaper den our Xmas dinner at CHIJMES, twice the standard of food, which satisfied the hungry girls pretty easily). We will visit this restaurant again!
Presenting the birthday girl....
Highly recommended: Black pepper Cod-fish. someone just kept praising the fish... and fought for the gravy which is very 下饭。LK likes their codfish!!! The grilled prawns were the only horror cos there were only 2 prawns (for $16 i think). But even so, all the rest were waaayy cheaper den our Xmas dinner. Shit, seems like all our dinner must compare to our Xmas one.
Had our first try of Vietnamese coffee. its a little more fragrant den our usual one. the manager was very nice. when he knew we have a birthday girl with us, he prepared a candle for our tapoica cake! so sweet of him! and the tapioca cake was FOC for us! He even offered us a card for their Spanish restaurant, which entitles us to a complimentary dessert next time we visit their spanish resaturant. The meal really made our day.........

LK has recently found the best way to position ourselves for picture-perfect. hahaha...
After dinner: Drinks @
Cafe iguana. We got her a cake (a slice to be exact) to fulfil her wish of having a real birthday cake.
Last one... ms lim kumgong, must u turn red everytime u drink?
We dun need fanciful parties and presents. We just need to have one another for our birthday....
